How to get the most of maxstart.max

Posted: November 13, 2010 in Rashi's tips and tricks for 3ds max

K guys and gals m gonna present my 1st tip in 3ds max .

So usually when you start 3ds max U only get the blank veiwport without nothing in it .So haven’t you thought of changing it?

If so this will help you to do that ๐Ÿ˜€

So as a modeler my work flow usually start with setting up blue prints and stating with a single poly to do extrusion modeling.

As you know its kind of pain in the u knw where ๐Ÿ˜‰ to do it everytime you start a new scene.

Because of this can make a template and use it every time you start a new scene.

Lets see how you can do this ๐Ÿ˜€

1.First identify you normally start in a scene. And start a fresh scene.

for me i use four planes to add my blueprint and they are correctly named and layered in a separate layer to optimize my workflow.

so as you can see in this images shows how i setup my stuff.after finishing setting up your template.Save your file as “maxstart” without cotes in the usually you save your scene files (3dsmax/scenes folder) .

And reset your scene ๐Ÿ˜€

see everytime your start your scene would be the template scene you strated with .

K daz all

enjoy modeling and plz subscribe to the bog if you think its worth reading ๐Ÿ˜€
